 Monday 31 October

The Practice will be undergoing a CQC inspection throughout this day if you are attending for an appointment you may be asked to comment on our services - the inspectors are bound by the same confidentiality rules as all NHS staff but will not be present during any GP/Nurse consultations.  The results of their inspection will be posted onto our website and available at the practice once they are ready.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
